BPEC Fault Finding (Combination and High Efficiency Boilers)

This one day course is designed to give heating installers knowledge of the Building Regulation 2010 Conservation of Fuel and Power Approved Document L allowing them to to confidently advise their customers on how to get the best energy efficiency from their heating systems and meet the requirements of the regulations.
The Energy Efficiency (Part L) is assessed by a short multi-choice theory examination including a heat loss and radiator sizing exercise.
Applicants should be experienced installers of gas, oil, or solid fuel domestic central heating systems.
The Energy Efficiency (Part L) training course has been made appropriate to the requirements of plumbers/ heating installers and gas engineers that need to self-certificate their work via one of the Competent Persons Schemes (CPS) and those that carryout work in new and existing dwellings whilst satisfying the requirements for compliance with Approved Document L1.
The qualification takes one-day to complete.
Certificates are valid for 5 years.
