The heating season is on with “Viessmann Simplified”
Installer-focused package of improved warranties, sales promotions and new easy boiler commissioning process are launched.
As the 2024 heating season gets underway, Viessmann is announcing a significant package of incentives for installers and merchants of its most popular domestic and light commercial boilers, and heat pumps. The “Viessmann Simplified” campaign is spearheaded by a new boiler commissioning process, designed with input from UK installers.
Longer warranties – 12 years FREE for the Vitodens 100-W
From September 1st to December 31st, the free warranty on the Vitodens 050-W and 100-W domestic boilers is increased to 10 and 12 years respectively, when products are registered on the Viessmann Installer Portal.
Viessmann Vitocal 150-A and 151-A air source heat pumps are now available with an extendable 10-year warranty. This warranty offer does not have an expiration date. Terms apply, which can be accessed via the Viessmann Installer Portal.
Sales promotions for installers old and new, as well as merchants
Viessmann has launched no fewer than five new financial incentive schemes to help installers and merchants make specifying Viessmann products easier than ever. All promotions are for registrations made on the Viessmann Installer Portal (or purchases, for merchants) between September 1st and December 31st 2024. Installers should consult the portal for full terms and conditions.
Existing Viessmann installers can enjoy unlimited cashback claims of £150 for every five Vitodens 050-W boilers registered and £300 for every five Vitodens 100-W boilers. Claims must be made by January 12th 2025.
For installers new to the Viessmann brand, and subject to the same claim period as above, an incentive payment of up to £500 will be made for their first Viessmann product registered. The welcome payment ranges from £100 for a Vitodens 050-W boiler to £500 for a Vitocal 150-A or 151-A air source heat pump.
Merchants will be credited £200 for every sale of a Vitodens 100-W Combi (26/30/35 kW) with flue and filter, or £250 where the sale includes the Vitotrol 100E controls package.
Installers of Viessmann’s Vitodens 200-W light commercial boilers (49 or 60 kW) can take advantage of an exclusive £700+ pack discount for each boiler plus connection set (pump and LLH), as well as a new 10-year warranty, when purchased through a merchant and registered via the Viessmann Installer Portal
Installers wishing to use the Viessmann Access MCS umbrella scheme – which provides pre-commissioning (depending on product), commissioning and MCS-registration fee, can do so for a fee of just £600 for this limited time period, representing a saving of up to £749 excluding VAT. Interested installers can apply by emailing access-uk@viessmann.com.
“Backed by product and integration technology that the market is hungry for, Viessmann is taking a very serious market approach this heating season with this targeted package of sales incentives and warranty extensions,” said Chris Johnson, Director of Sales at Viessmann Climate Solutions UK. “For many consumers, this is the autumn and winter in which they will seriously consider heat pumps as boiler replacements for the first time. It’s a great opportunity for our industry and we stand right behind every installer – whether they’ve worked with our Vitocal heat pumps before or not – to give them a leg-up, not just financially, but with our increasingly popular Viessmann Access MCS umbrella scheme, which takes out much of the hassle associated with the transition to installing heat pumps.
New easy boiler commissioning process
The latest evolution of Viessmann’s popular Vitodens 050-W, 100-W and 111-W gas-condensing boilers, available now, makes commissioning easier and quicker.
The new boilers only require a simple three-step commissioning process for the 050-W model and a six-step process for the 100-W.
The whole process should take between 10 and 20 minutes, which includes waiting time for filling and venting, depending on water pressure, in fact, in an installer competition at a recent trade show, the fastest time achieved was 18 seconds excluding the time for filling and venting. This demonstrated just how quick and easy the process is for commissioning on the boiler.
The boilers can also be commissioned via Viessmann’s ViGuide App, for mobile or desktop, for which a Viessmann account is required.
The Vitodens 050-W: three-steps: Operating Mode, Filling programme, Venting Programme.
The Vitodens 100-W/111-W: six-steps: Date, Time, Summer/Winter time changeover, Operating Mode, Filling programme, Venting Programme.
The heat-only Vitodens 100-W model requires just a single step for commissioning.
The usual advanced level of commissioning is still available, as appreciated by installers and end-users alike. The full 16 set-up options include specifying flue systems and lengths, hydraulic parameters and additional plug ins or controls.
“Viessmann has made this UK market-specific product improvement after listening to feedback from installers,” explained Chris Johnson. “The launch of the new Vitodens boiler range in 2021 heralded the introduction of digital boiler commissioning to the industry, with Viessmann pioneering the change. The new simplified process – designed specifically for the way in which installers have traditionally commissioned boilers in the UK – means Vitodens boilers are easier than ever to fit, and especially to those new installers we are continuously welcoming to the Viessmann brand.
“The Vitodens range, with its One Base control platform, is the most up-to-date specification on the market. With WiFi inside the boiler, it is a truly smart machine, enabling live interfaces and full control for both the installer and end-user. All this functionality is free and included in the boiler,” continues Chris Johnson.
