Application Hints & Tips

Helping you get ahead in your application.

We’ve made sure every stage of our Recruitment Process is fair and transparent – by putting our values at the heart of our process, to make sure you get a feel for what life at Viessmann is really like.

Here are some hints and tips to help you when applying for any role here.

Always attach a CV. It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase your experience and how it is relevant to the role you're applying for. Highlight your strengths and key achievements, and let us know what you can bring to the role.

Double check your application and CV to make sure you haven’t made any spelling mistakes, or you haven’t missed anything important

We understand that not everybody has experience in writing CV’s, so follow these points below to help get your CV role ready.

  • Make sure it’s up to date and has your most recent role at the start.

  • Tailor it to the role you are applying for, making sure you’re highlighting the experience you’ve got and can bring to the role.

  • Don’t forget to mention your qualifications, training courses, and any volunteer work and achievements you’re proud of. It’s important to showcase where you’ve up-skilled and could bring new knowledge to our company.

  • Don’t put too much personal data (i.e., D.O.B, Marital status, NI Number). Any information like this an employer needs can be given at a later stage.

  • If you have a LinkedIn Profile, include a link to it.

  • Explain any significant gaps in your work history.

  • Include a form of contact (email and telephone).
